Structure
The highest governing body of the Lithuanian Society of Radiation Therapy, in which all the members of the Society participate, is the General Convention of Members, held at least once every year.
Between General Concventions of Members the Union is governed by the Council, which consists of 7 members elected for 2 years. The Council consists of members of the Union elected by the General Covention of Members. The Council appoints one of its members as the Chairperson of the Council. The Council meets at least once every six months.
The daily activities of the Society are organized and executed by the President, appointed by the Council for the term of three years.
The control of the use of funds and income of the Society is executed by the Revision Committee. The Revision Committee consisting of 3 members is elected by the General Convention of Members for the period of three years. This committee inspects the financial operations and documents of the Society and submits its findings to the General Convention of Members.
